Slow Cooker Green Beans are one of my favorite side dishes! They are so easy to make and so full of flavor. They are definitely a great way to add some pep to your recipe collection. While it isn't a zero point vegetable dish, it is still low point considering all of the flavors added!

My friend Emilee made this recipe for me a few years ago, and I fell in love with it. So easy to make, and seriously delicious. A friend had shared the recipe with her, and I simply adapted it to fit into my Weight Watchers needs.
Ingredients for Slow Cooker Green Beans
3 cans French style green beans
5 slices center cut bacon, diced into small pieces
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup butter
1 teaspoon minced garlic
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions for Slow Cooker Green Beans
Combine all ingredients in your slow cooker and stir well.
Cook on low heat for 4 hours.

As you can see, this slow cooker green beans recipe is a great addition to your meal plan. The bacon, garlic, and brown sugar add amazing flavor that your whole family will rave over. Kids won't complain about having vegetables on their plate with this recipe! We serve this at holiday dinners, but you can also add it as a side with grilled chicken and a roasted sweet potato recipe for a low point meal that everyone loves.
