Strawberry Fruit Ice Cream
One of the hardest things about being on any healthy lifestyle or eating plan is giving up the sweet treats you crave. This recipe has had many variations through the years and is rather popular among those on Weight Watchers plans.
Note: While blended fruits you drink do have points {learn more about WW Fruit Drinks}, sorbets and ice creams with blended fruit are recipes that you don't have to count the points for the fruit. When you eat them with a spoon, you are less likely to overindulge. Smoothies and juices can easily contain hundreds of calories in fruit so add up faster than a frozen fruit blend.

Fruit Ice Cream Flavors
One of my favorite things about making these fruit ice cream bars is that you can use truly any fruit you enjoy. I love combinations of fruit for a change, but a single fruit for a stand-alone flavor profile is always delicious. Try some of the combinations below.
- Peaches for "peaches & cream"
- Mango and Pineapple for "Tropical"
- Peach and Blackberries
- Cherries for "cherries & cream"
How to store Fruit Ice Cream Cups
To help make these easy to portion, I use cupcake liners in my muffin tins. I'll pop them into the freezer until solid, then pull them out and place in a large freezer bag. Another option you can use is to pour the mixture into freezer pop molds. This will give you a popsicle type treat that is easier to grab and more portable.
